Louis Garneau's Zero Degree ErgoGrips let you ride comfortably all winter! The water-resistant leather upper is wrapped in a neoprene bootie to ensure toasty toes in the harshest conditions. The ErgoGrip MTB outsoles sport strong rubber lugs, reinforced nylon soles and molded heel cups for superior pedal power, walking traction and support. Plus, the lace-up and zipper closures offer a weather-proof custom fit. And, when the conditions turn sloppy, you can screw in the aluminum spikes for the ultimate grip. These great shoes are also reinforced front and rear for durability and reflective piping ensures visibility, too.
In order to mount your pedal cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns (pedals come with cleats, shoes come without). There are three configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD. Road shoes feature one, two or even all three of these. Mountain-bike shoes usually use the SPD pattern.
